The Short Version

- ✓ Your data belongs to you. Export or delete it whenever you want.
- ✓ AI is a practice partner, not a therapist. Great for skill-building, not a replacement for professional help.
- ✓ We're fair. Be fair back. Don't abuse the platform, and we'll keep improving it for everyone.
These are the ground rules for using ProSocial. We've tried to make them readable (shocking for legal docs, we know). The goal is a fair deal for both of us.
What ProSocial Is
ProSocial is an AI-powered platform to help you build communication confidence. You'll find personality assessments, AI coaching conversations, role-play practice scenarios, and skill-building exercises. Think of it as a gym for your people skills.
Your Account
A few basics to keep things running smoothly:
- You need to be 18+ (or have a parent's OK)
- One account per person—your insights are personal to you
- Keep your login secure (we can't be responsible if you share it)
- Use real info so we can help you if something goes wrong
Billing & Cancellation
We keep billing simple:
- Cancel anytime — you'll keep access until your billing period ends
- No surprise charges — we'll email you 30 days before any price changes
- No partial refunds — but you keep full access through what you paid for
- Payments are handled securely through Stripe (your card info never touches our servers)
What to Expect from AI
Let's set the right expectations:
- AI coaching is for practice and skill-building—it's not therapy or medical advice
- Assessments give you useful patterns, but they're not clinical diagnoses
- AI is smart but not perfect—use your judgment when applying suggestions
- If you're dealing with serious mental health challenges, please work with a professional
We're constantly improving the AI, but think of it as a really good practice partner—helpful for building skills, not a substitute for human expertise when you really need it.
Playing Fair
Here's the deal: we've built something we're proud of, and we want to keep it good for everyone. So please don't:
- Try to access other people's accounts or data
- Use bots or scrapers on the platform
- Share your login with others
- Upload anything harmful or use the platform for illegal stuff
Basically: be a good human. If you wouldn't want someone doing it to you, don't do it here.
Who Owns What
Let's be clear about this:
- Your stuff is yours — your assessment results, conversation history, all of it
- Our stuff is ours — the platform, AI models, content, and features
- When you give us feedback, we might use it to make ProSocial better (but we won't attach your name to it)
Being Realistic
We work hard to make ProSocial great, but let's be honest about a few things:
- Sometimes things break. We'll fix them as fast as we can.
- AI coaching is educational—life decisions are still on you
- If a third-party service goes down, we can't control that
- If something goes really wrong on our end, our liability is limited to what you've paid us in the last year
Leaving ProSocial
If you want to go:
- Cancel anytime from your account settings
- Export your data first if you want to keep it
- We'll delete everything when you ask (see our Privacy Policy)
If we need to end things:
- We might close accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraud
- We'll give you notice if possible and a chance to export your data
Changes & Legal Stuff
If we update these terms, we'll give you 30 days notice and email you about anything major. Keep using ProSocial after that, and you're agreeing to the new terms.
For the lawyers: these terms are governed by Delaware law. If we have a dispute we can't resolve, it goes to arbitration (basically a neutral third party decides instead of going to court). This keeps things simpler and cheaper for everyone.
